History

Coutinho Caro + Co, the origin of CCC Machinery, was originally established in 1895 and is a Ferrostaal company since 2012.

Ferrostaal was founded in 1920 as Ferrostaal N.V. in The Hague as a commercial trading company for steel products. Shortly thereafter the German company Gutehoffnungshütte Aktienverein für Bergbau und Hüttenbetrieb (GHH) took a participation in Ferrostaal N.V. and the company expanded its activities into trade business and started developing into an industrial service provider with an international distribution network.

In 2011 / 2012 the Hamburg-based MPC Industries became shareholders of Ferrostaal and MPC’s companies Coutinho Caro + Co International Trading and CCC Machinery were transferred to Ferrostaal. In 2013 the trading activities of CCC Machinery in Tubular Products were transferred to CCC Machinery’s sister company Ferrostaal Piping Supply GmbH.
